Chapter 23 The Unveiling

• The small, dark cabin seemed to close in even further around them as Kenneth's sudden reappearance cast its long shadow across the room. Lisa's mind reeled, struggling to align what she was seeing with the image of Kenneth's bloody collapse at the lighthouse.
• "Sit down, Kenneth," Sanchez said, her voice a mixture of command and concern. "Start from the beginning. How are you here?
• Kenneth nodded, taking an unsteady seat at the table. Pale, wanly tired, his eyes nonetheless burned. He took a deep breath as if psyching himself to continue through a painful experience.
