Chapter 20 Unmasking The Enemy

• The early morning light filtered in through the safe house blinds, casting long shadows across the room. Lisa, Mark, and Sanchez had slept very little; their heads had been whirling with plans and possibilities. The recovered ledger was a crucial piece of evidence, but they needed more if they wanted to take down Carmichael and Nexus.
• Sanchez hunched over the table, tracing her finger across the map of Miami. "We've located a few more places connected with the Carmichael operations. We have to hit these places fast and quiet."
• Mark nodded, his eyes determined. "We'll split up. Sanchez, you take the docks. Lisa and I will check out this office building downtown.
