Chapter 22 The Leak

• The tension was palpable in the safe house as Lisa, Mark, and Sanchez prepared to release the information they had garnered. Mark sat at his laptop, furiously typing away, while Sanchez coordinated with trusted contacts within law enforcement and the media. Lisa paced the room nervously.
• "Ready to hit send?" Mark asked, looking up from the screen.
• Lisa nodded, her gut twisted with both anticipation and dread. "Do it. Let's blow the lid off this thing."
