Chapter 501 The Accident

• Siobhan looked up and saw Rudy’s head appear in the window. She dimpled and waved, blowing a kiss at him. Her large, baggy shirt hid her bulky stomach beneath the loose jacket she had on. Rudy looked down at her, leaning against the windowsill as he dialled Sven’s number for the fifteenth time. It went to voicemail, which was unusual.
• He watched Siobhan as she stepped out, her brown head shining. He ached for her, ached with love for this little woman who had become his life. She looked up, and he saw the tiredness on her face; but to Rudolph Delano, she was still the most beautiful woman in the world. Next to his Mumma, of course.
• They were planning a spring wedding, after the baby had arrived. And Rudy had already checked the apartment he wanted to shift into after they had gotten married. It was within walking distance of his brothers’ Louis and Dom’s homes and, as Siobhan had said happily, closer to the university too.
