Chapter 142 What's Going On?

• Louis was out of the car before it skidded to a halt. The Capo, who had been driving, and Dom leapt out, in pursuit of Louis, who looked like a large behemoth as he ran to Serena’s door, shoving people away from his path. Captain Davis tried to struggle with him, to hold him back, but it was of no avail. The forensic, white-coated, white-booted people had already arrived and were unloading their equipment even as the paramedical staff whom the Captain had alerted rushed in.
• Rani, Dom’s fiancée, had begged and pleaded to be allowed to be part of the forensic team, but her boss had put her foot down.
• “You’re too close to the victim,” snapped the woman and Rani had bitten back her rude retort. It had not stopped her from turning up and she had sneaked in along with the paramedical team, when her Boss was not looking.
