• Fear gripped Isabella as she noticed three cars trailing behind her, she slowed her pace and casually glanced back. Her heart skipped a beat as she recognized the cars as Jack's own. Her legs weakened with fears, her hands trembling, forcing her to clutch her bag tightly to prevent it from falling.
• Her instincts told her to run into the hospital, but she hesitated, fearing her secret would be exposed if Jack followed her inside the hospital. She took a quick glance around and sighted a pharmacy not far from the hospital, she hastened her steps towards it. She ducked into the pharmacy, purchasing analgesics as a ruse, in case Jack might investigate her activities.
• She deliberately lingered in the pharmacy, waiting until she was sure Jack's cars had left the area, before making her way to the hospital.
