• I had been away for a week, staying at my hotel, but I told Grace I was going for a business meeting. Don’t judge me; she was beginning to suspect that I was being dishonest, and I didn’t want to be harsh with her over the questions she kept asking. The only option I had was to leave the house.
• When I returned, all my security personnel rushed toward me, their faces marked by somber expressions and fear. They kept their heads bowed, avoiding gaze with me as they welcomed me.
