• Everyone in the boardroom was fervently hoping that Victor Mason would finally accept their presentation. This was the third time they were presenting the proposal, and he had been dismissing it without any clear reason.
• They exchanged nervous glances and stole a look at him, he was absorbed in his phone, seemingly oblivious to what was being presented.
• “I need to get to somewhere important, so you'll have to repeat this presentation,” Victor Mason said, standing up abruptly. Everyone felt like crying at that moment, but he didn’t even bother to look into their eyes; he would do whatever pleased him.
