• Victor Mason woke up to find Grace’s side of the bed empty, which was unusual as she was a late riser. Groggily, he sat up and yawned, calling out, “Darling, are you in the bathroom?” But there was no response. Still half asleep, he got up and went to check on her.
• His gaze landed on the wardrobe, and his eyes widened in confusion – Grace's side was almost empty.
• He rushed over to confirm what he was seeing, and clearly enough, most of Grace's dresses were gone, and a letter lay in plain sight.
