• It’s early, but I’m wired. Demitri’s out handling business, Lucas is planning his next move, and I’ve been locked into the screen for… well, I don’t actually know how long. Hours, probably. I’ve checked on Alissia a few times, and she’s still out cold. Can’t blame her—after everything that’s happened, she could use a few more hours of oblivion.
• With the hotel’s CCTV hacked, I’m deep in the system, setting up a few more backdoors just in case Volkov tries to knock me out. If he goes as far as having the cameras cut, I’ll need our own feeds in place. Demitri’s connection to the place is hidden, which helps, but it’s also a risk.
