Chapter 31 Shipments
- Demitri POV
- The moment I step inside, the smell of oil and metal hits me. The vast, open space is alive with activity. Men are everywhere, moving crates, loading trucks, checking off inventory. Armed guards patrol the perimeter, their eyes sharp, watching everything that moves. The sound of forklifts echoes against the concrete walls, while a few men in suits are huddled in a corner, going over shipment manifests.
- Rows upon rows of crates are stacked high, each marked with codes that indicate their contents—some are weapons, others hold shipments of diamonds, drugs, or cash. The whole operation runs like a well-oiled machine, no room for error. This warehouse isn’t just a storage space; it’s the lifeblood of my business. Everything we control passes through here at some point.
