Chapter 30 Update

• It had been a month since my wedding. A month to see how she would be as the Queen. I had heard nothing but good things from the trainers in all areas. It took a while to break her out of her shell, but ultimately, they said she was not only good at retaining knowledge, but she was also very skillful at her combat skills. With combat and defense moves, you either get it or you don't. There was no in between. I was happy to hear she was taking to it all as quickly and as well as she was. The combat trainers I had assigned to her thought that she would benefit more in a larger group now that they didn't have much else, they could teach her one-on-one, but I wasn't ready for that yet.
• Then there was my mom, who spoke highly of everything she had managed to remember. My mom rarely spoke highly of anyone. But she stated that stuff she would have to look in a book to give the correct answer for. Tegan remembered off the top of her head, as if it was second nature. I was proud of the progress Tegan has quickly made in the short amount of time.
