I should've treated her better. I should've noticed her. But it was only now that I felt anything. Now that I was on the verge of losing her. I was consumed with guilt for how awful I had treated her. She had a rough life, and being with me was no better. I only lit the match that caused her to go aflame, metaphorically speaking.
