Chapter 48 First Love And True Love

  • Belinda's face froze. She felt the cold sweat on her forehead as a hint of how embarrassing this moment is for her. Though she came here without any expectation of anything because she knows where is she standing, what are the odds and ends are- but still hearing it from James' mouth hits different. " I love Angel. I think you know about this. I do not know what happened to me last night but one thing is for sure, I know where my heart lies," James' words resonate with Belinda's entire being making everything around her seem to move in slow motion. She did not know how to respond. In normal days she would have kicked or punched James or yelled at her at least but this time she can't do any of that as her mind has now turned into a blank slate. Belinda stared blankly in space as her body, as if having a mind of its own, turned its back to James. She is about to walk out slowly, mindlessly, because what else is there to hear in this place? Belinda's mind is too busy trying to be blank that she did not hear James' last sentence before she ran out of the place. But if you are willing to wait, I might be able to arrange my emotions because I know you also have a special place in my heart. Belinda did not hear that. All she heard are painful words, all she felt was pain. Belinda was gone fast, too fast for James to process his feelings and sort out his emotions. He has been in love with a single person for ten years- just one. These feelings are also new to him, his first. But though James' mind and heart are slow, his reflexes are fast and his feet and arms ways faster as they found their way out of the house, into the car, and drove as fast as they can to find Belinda in the middle of the street soaking wet of rain. And though James is still unclear of many things, one thing is for sure- this sight of Belinda soaking in the rain looking as down as she can get is not a pleasing sight for him, in fact, it is the opposite- it makes him sad, upset and angry at the same time. Angry to himself, disappointed and sad at the same time but those emotions are not enough to stop him from coming out of the car and pulling Belinda inside. Belinda brushed his hands away, but James is stubborn and tried to grab her again. Belinda slapped James! He was stunned but it did help him realize something as she watch Belinda say things in anger, anger that made her cry as she say: "What is wrong with you?! Settle your feelings! Do you think I am easy? Just because, because we did that! I am not coming with you! Let me go!" The slap. The cry. The words. Awaken James. It made James realize, that yes, Angel is his first love but this beautifully strong woman in front of him had snatched his heart out of his chest. This woman, crying in front of him, in the middle of the rain and storm- the same one he spent his first night with is the one he love. James is in love. And not with Angel anymore- it is now with this maiden- it is now Belinda. Maybe it has been since the first time, maybe it was before when it started is not important- the only thing that's important at this moment is this feeling that James is feeling. It is too strong to be ignored- too pure to just don't mind, and as Belinda is about to turn her back to her again James said those words. His epiphany, his declaration. Those words would seal everything, not a happy ending but at least a start of something good. "I love you!" James said in a low tone, Belinda heard it and it made it stopped but she is not sure. Belinda continued to walk. One step. Two steps. "I LOVE YOU BELINDA!" James shouted with the thunder in the background. The storm came back as if to greet and remind them of the sweet moment they shared in the car that is now waiting for them to get inside. "What the F*ck is WRONG WITH YOU!" Belinda shouted and she was supposed to say other things if James had not stopped her lips with his. Belinda's eyes are wide open as she is confused, her mind is confused but her heart- her heart is sure. The heart is not much fond of reasoning as much as the mind does, and even if questions still clouds Belinda's mind her heart and body are ready to go. Amid the storm with the thunder and lightning peaks in the background the two exchange torrid kisses, it seems that their body and lips are more sure of what is happing inside their hearts even if their minds are cloudy with thoughts. And just like that. They shared another heated night it is all too fast that Belinda and James are now rummaging their way into James' room. Their lips stuck with each other and their tongue dances inside. Belinda pushed James and went on top of him as she unbutton her clothes- James watches in anticipation as the sight clearly makes something hard inside his pants. Sweat. Moan. Bodies together, heartbeats as one. It was wild. James' hands squished Belinda's chest from behind. Their feelings let loose. Belinda sucked deep James moaned. It was heavenly. They both reached their peak. And when the blood rushed and the sweet sweat had run dried, One word was said, the sealed things in a smile. A whisper on Belinda's ears and a kiss on her forehead. "I love you," Belinda smiled because she might not have it all but at least this night is a night that she will treasure- a treasure in her simple life that is full of sadness but tonight is a delight.
