Chapter 49 Frank
- Antonio was the first to move, pulling his weapon and shooting into the crowd. The sound of a gunshot rang throughout the warehouse as the bullet impacted one of the figures, knocking them to the ground. I hardly had time to react before I pulled out my own pistol and fired at the nearest target.
- People scattered, diving behind containers and machines to evade the gunshots. I dived behind a stack of pallets, my pulse beating as I glanced over the top, attempting to assess the situation. Antonio was holding his own, shooting with accuracy as he dispatched everyone who came too near. Meanwhile, Gustavo had slipped into the commotion, slithering away like a mouse.
- "Where the hell did he go?" I mumbled, scouring the room for signs of him.
