Chapter 24 Frank

• "Why didn't you follow my rules, Gustavo?!" I yelled, totally pissed off. My arm throbbed from the graze, and adrenaline was still pumping through my body. As I stood there in Gustavo's office, there was the tension.
• Gustavo maintained his composure, his expression impassive but with a trace of regret in his eyes. "Mr. Frank, I thought I was doing what was best for Melissa. Her friend needed to see her, like she said. This degree of threat was not what I anticipated."
• "Gustavo, that's the issue," I angrily said. "You were blind to it. We have enemies everywhere, and Melissa and Kiesha were nearly killed as a result of your choice. We can't have this mistake recurring...and you of all know that."
