- I watched Frank leave the house, rage churning within me. His rapid shift in tone, his assertive grip over my life—a total stranger suddenly turned a nightmare. I wanted to yell at him to stop and allow me and my mother make our own decisions. But deep inside, I knew Frank was not going to listen. He was bent on doing this, and I felt trapped.
