Chapter 141 Emery's Reputation

• Kieran had asked to visit his children before any decisions were made following the trial while awaiting the ultimate result of her case against Emery. He was still anxious and nervous about whatever the result would be, knowing Emery’s reputation for manipulating everything with her power to be in favor of her but he was still hopeful and thankful because of all the people who helped him and backed him up. After Emery was unable to defend herself after her final interrogation, and after her team of attorneys failed to defend her against the evidence and eyewitnesses that Kieran had provided for the previous trials days earlier, his team of attorneys had already assured him that they were going to win.
• Kieran was still hopeful.
• While they were still debating and weighing everything that Kieran and his eyewitnesses had complained about against Emery, she was unable to leave the building as soon as he was permitted to see his children. Emery was unable to leave the house because of the mountain of evidence that Kieran and his crew had produced, despite the fact that she had committed horrible acts that were only recently brought up in court.
