Chapter 25 The Kids

  • Myriam's room was the first place I made sure to look because, in my opinion, it was simple to wake her up and carry her around in my arms while waking the twins at the same time in their own room. Even though I sound confident about my plan, I am hoping that it will actually work. It was like hitting two birds with one stone. I start to walk up to the second floor in order to find their rooms in the west wing, but the hallway is so long that it temporarily throws me off.
  • Fatima claimed that each of the child's names was written on the door to their respective room, but I can not seem to find any names there. Unsure of what I was doing, I made my way down the hallway and decided to just knock on the doors and see if I could get them open because maybe the kids' rooms weren't actually locked on the inside.
  • About three doors that I have knocked and opened, they were not bedrooms. The first one was a music room with a grand piano and all other instruments inside, the second one seemed to be a mini theater room and the third was a library. On the fourth one, I didn't want to feel discouraged because I can knock down all the remaining rooms here. I began to knock again a continuous one before I decided to grab the knob and open it but I leaped back as soon as the doorknob was beginning to move and rustle on its own.
