You see darling, I do not see the point of lying to you about this." He lifts his wrists with handcuffs before he places them back down on the table. "If you do not believe me, then ask your mother."

I continued to cry against his chest while my heart was truly hurting with the lies that my mother had told me and I cannot believe how dad must have felt if he knew. Did he know about it?
