Chapter 36

• My heart pounded wildly in my chest. The door of the manor stood before me. I might as well call it the door of my destiny. Today was the day. The special day that every wolf in the pack looked forward to.
• I was flanked by Eric and Lucy on each side. They each had my hands in a tight and encouraging grasp. I had been full of confidence since I came back from the vacation trip with Theo, but now I felt different. I felt myself falter a bit. It didn't help that Theo didn't bring us here. He was not to be blamed, though. He had to make preparations with some of the elders of the pack. After all, he was the main focus of the event. He had explained it to me earlier.
