Chapter 21

• I was awoken by the noise of a discussion going on in the background. I sat up in the bed and watched as Theo paced to and fro in the room. Seeing him walk about in the nude reminded me of what happened the previous day, and I couldn't help but blush.
• After our tryst in the club, I had changed, and Theo had taken me to the same hotel. Of course, I had given Eric a heads-up that I would not be coming in the night. He seemed fine with it, particularly more so when he found out I would be spending it with Theo. Of course, I had to end the call to avoid his sex jokes. By the moon goddess, he was becoming more and more like Theo. What followed next after Theo and I arrived at the hotel was a night I could never forget. We had a lovely dinner at the hotel lobby, followed by booking a room for the night. Then it was a night of a shared shower and steamy fun in the jacuzzi. The way I was treated last night, I would have thought I was a princess and not the lowest-ranked wolf in the pack.
• I quickly brought myself back to the present and partly shut my eyes, feigning sleep as Theo walked past. From my narrowed vision, I saw him drop the phone on the table and stand akimbo. With his back to me, he gave me a view of his backside, and I stared appreciatively at it, biting my lower lip. It turns out I wasn't the only one with meat back there. His bum was toned and muscular, but still full enough to be grabbed. And that spawned a devious idea in my head. Grinning mischievously,I reached over and groped his butt.
