Chapter 28
- A few days had passed since that incident. My brother and I were on better terms. It had taken a lot from me to do so, but I had personally gone to his room to wake him up after that night with a big apology, accompanied by his favourite dish: fried turkey wings, boiled eggs, and rice. Of course, I was easily forgiven. It was then that I knew how much I was glad to see him smile again. I would rather enjoy our sibling banter than have my own flesh and blood become my enemy. It just didn't seem right.
- The next thing I did was take a small break from my restaurant and buy an apology gift for Lucy at Theo's office. Thankfully, she never outgrew her love for chocolates. We were back on good terms, but I wouldn't lie, it would still feel weird to see Lucy and Eric act all lovey-dovey.
- I was in the kitchen when Eric popped in.
