• The morning was a breath of the freshest air I've ever inhaled. I felt like a weight had been lifted off my body. It was so nice to finally have the room and bed to myself. From then on, the only other body that should occupy that bed should be Ellie's.
• Furthermore, Jax was calmer now, and I was free from his constant noises during the night whenever Meredith slept beside me. The only thing that nearly dampened my mood was the realization that it took me a long time to get rid of Meredith. The fact that I saw the signs of toxic behavior brewing within her and ignored them made me question my mental status.
