• Natasha let out a sigh of relief after listening to Mark’s promise. She then leaned against him weakly.
• “Mark, I’m really scared and I’m afraid that I will lose you. Connor is returning in a few days, and I honestly do not want to go back to the Landry Family. I am afraid your act will turn true and you’ll fall for Eris. What should I do if that happens?” Natasha’s voice was quiet and she sounded frightened and anxious, and her fear was heartbreaking.
• Mark caressed her head softly while soothing her, “That won’t happen. Once everything comes to an end, you will divorce Connor and I will marry you. I will never leave you.”
