• Worry snakes across me, slithering up my spine, stuck, staring at the emptiness. Is this Drake’s way of firing me? Tears spring to my pupils, making the orbs glisten under the fluorescent lights. Humiliation threatens to take over. The after effects of last night have left me an emotional wreck, and I need to get it under control. The men in my life have embarrassed me enough in the previous weeks. I refuse to add more.
