Chapter 93
- Cesmae's POV
- It’s been weeks—weeks of endless planning, preparations, and meetings where Kylian has taken the reins entirely. Anyone watching us might think he’s the bride. He’s involved in every detail, from the design of the invitations to the color of the tablecloths, and though I try to participate, it’s exhausting. The decisions, the grandeur, the pressure to make everything perfect… It's overwhelming. Every morning, I wake up with a pit in my stomach, knowing there will be more choices to make—most of which I have little say in.
- Today, after slipping into one of my simpler dresses, I decide I need a break. A real break. Kylian is tied up with another meeting about the ceremony logistics, and I can’t sit through another hour of discussions about seating arrangements or floral designs. Not today. Today, I need something else—something that reminds me of who I am beneath all this noise.
