• The night of our mating ceremony feels like a scene from a dream. The garden has transformed into an exquisite realm of elegance, with blooms cascading down trellises and soft candlelight flickering in the gentle breeze. Lanterns hang above, casting a warm, ethereal glow that dances across the faces of those gathered to witness this moment. Under the gaze of the full moon, Raizel and I stand hand in hand, our ceremonial robes flowing around us in graceful folds.
• Around us, a sea of dignitaries; personalities from the Lycan Kingdom, Alphas and Lunas from a few Packs invited to grace the occasion, and members of Raizel’s council watch in respectful silence. Kylian’s friends are among them—Zeke, Ciel, Kael, Tessa, and surprisingly even Iridian. I honestly assumed she'd blame me for Kylian's death and hate me for it.
