Chapter 42 Fiona
- I didn’t have to wait until Joshua made my life hell. My life was already hell now because that bastard Erick suddenly sent me home when I didn’t want to go home. I knew Joshua hadn’t returned from his meeting. I hadn’t seen his car in the driveway or in the garage. I’d sworn I wouldn’t go near the house if Joshua wasn’t around, because I didn’t want to be stuck with Carlos Lident.
- But now I was stuck with Joshua’s grandfather at the dining table and having dinner with him. That bastard Erick dropped me off at the main door after our shooting practice because he said he had something important to do and couldn’t stay with me until Joshua got home. Meanwhile, I didn’t have a cell phone and I didn’t have Joshua’s number. I couldn’t call him and tell him to come home right now. I didn’t want to be stuck at the dining table with his grandfather!
- Hell! I took back what I said about Erick. I hated him, and I wasn't grateful that I had met him. He was a jerk!
