Chapter 113 Fiona
- I didn't expect to spend so much time in Scott's ward. We talked about so many things. I asked Scott what his plans were after he was discharged. Scott said he wanted to sell his house and move into a nursing home. He thought it was the best thing to do because he didn't want to spend his days grieving over Lea's death. The house held so many memories of Lea. I understood Scott's desire to move on quickly. It felt suffocating to live in a house filled with Lea's memories.
- I pushed open the door to Joshua's treatment room. He was in the middle of therapy with his therapist. Joshua's entire body was drenched in sweat. He looked in pain as he tried to walk across the parallel bars, but he was determined to do it. Doctor Edward had actually suggested he do it next week, but Joshua insisted on doing it as soon as possible because he really hated being a paralyzed man lying on a gurney.
- "Hey, are you alone today? Melissa and Erick aren't here?"
