• Ivan was crying while he lay on the floor. His right knee was sprained. He had scratched his shin when he fell. There were shards of glasses on the floor. Alejandra's eyes went to the broken picture frame. The exact one hung above the bed. She quickly went to attend to Ivan.
• "Ivan, how-?" She said anxiously, crouching down beside him.
