Chapter 109 Trustee

• Alejandra turned to the other side of the futon and slowly opened her eyes. She sat up on the futon and yawned while covering her mouth. She turned to her side and reached for the glass on the bedside table. She realized the glass was empty and needed to quench her thirst.
• Alejandra pulled out the duvet that was covering her and stood on her feet. She slipped into her blue slippers and headed for the door. The bedroom lights were on and made it easy for her to see the door. She opened the door ajar and closed it gently. She had her hand on the handrail as climbed down the stairs. She walked to the kitchen and groped the walls for the light switch.
