Chapter 72 Training

• Judy went to the hospital to visit Pilar. She had been visiting her ever since Pilar came out of the theatre. Pilar was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit after the surgery and had been unconscious ever since. She gave her bag to the nurse at the ward desk and was given a non surgical gown and a nose mask. She put it on and went to Pilar's room.
• Judy looked at Pilar through the window. A nurse was inside the room, replacing the drip bag on the stand with a new one. Judy mustered courage and turned the handle of the door. She opened the door and came in. She closed the door quietly. The nurse put the old drip bag on a tray and left the room. Judy walked to the bed, standing beside the vital sign monitor. She bent a little and smiled at Pilar. She stroked her hair.
• "Hi, Mum! How are you? I came like I promised you I would, only a bit late. The lecturer was angry with everyone in class for not completing their assignments. That's okay. I know that I'll pass my three hundred level exams in flying colours. I was born with some of Dad's smarts." Judy said cheerily,
