Chapter 60 Cheating Partner

• Alejandra sniffed while she walked on the pavement. The make-up she had worn had washed off when she fell into the swimming pool. Her hair was wet, so was her dress. Her hair stopped dripping minutes after she had come out of the pool.
• Alejandra had forgotten her handbag in the hotel. She was at the bus stop, opposite the hotel, and she realized she wasn't with it. She couldn't go back for it, especially not in her wet clothes. She had lost her phone in the pool and had no reasonable item in her handbag except her purse, which had some notes in it.
• The breeze blew and Alejandra felt it. It made her shiver a little because of her wet clothes. She looked at the sky. The moon was overshadowed by some clouds making the weather cold. She held on to the pendant of the necklace she was wearing as she walked. Seeing Benjamin at the party reminded her of the past she tried so much to forget. She had never looked for him nor been in touch with him after he moved to North Carolina.
