Chapter 30 Coffee Mishap

• It was lunch time and everyone had gone out for lunch. Everyone except for Mady. She went to the canteen to make a cup of coffee. She plugged in the coffee maker and waited for the coffee to be ready. She picked up one of the coffee mugs, arranged on the worktop and unplugged the machine.
• Mady held the mug by the handle and removed the pot from the machine. She missed the mug and accidentally poured hot coffee on her hand. The mug fell from her hand and shattered to pieces when it hit the floor. She kept the pot she was holding on the worktop and looked at her hand.
