Chapter 39 Blossom Makes Things Difficult

• Josephine woke up early on the weekend. She changed into a set of lightweight loungewear and put her hair up in a ponytail. Rosa was surprised to see her up and about and asked, “Are you going out on a weekend, Ms. Quillen?” She remembered that Jasmine usually went without an alarm on weekends if she did not have classes that day.
• “I'm working now, Rosa. Did you forget? Someone booked a pre-wedding photoshoot, and this assistant needs to be there too,” explained Josephine cheerfully. Unlike others, she did not show any hint of annoyance or reluctance regarding her job.
• Rosa entered the kitchen while saying, “Well, you still need to eat before leaving.” She warmed some milk for Josephine and prepared a cheeseburger.
