• Dominic slowly opened his eyes, disoriented for a moment as he took in his surroundings. He was in Lily's room, lying on her bed, and as he turned his head, he saw her sleeping peacefully on his arm. Her tiny hand was wrapped around his, holding onto him tightly even in her sleep.
