• Dominic strolled through the hospital corridors, Valerie's favorite food in hand, purchased from her beloved restaurant. His thoughts were preoccupied with the anticipation of seeing her, of bringing a smile to her face. As he approached her hospital room, his guard halted him.
• "Sir, I need to inform you that a nurse just administered a sedative injection to the patient. She's sleeping," the guard said, his voice low and cautious.
