• The dog helped them reach the edge of town to a deserted warehouse, far enough from sight. They observed it as heavily guarded with dark figures waiting in the shadows.
• Dominic stepped out of the car, eyes blazing with fierce determination, while his team came out behind him. The dog made a soft bark and wagged its tail, pretty much giving this air that they could go on.
• Max lifted his hand to brush the dog's head, gratitude in his voice. "Thanks, buddy," he said, still glued to the warehouse.
