Chapter 63
- Isabella drove into her driveway, with the sound of the gravel crunching beneath the tires comforting her like a warm hug. The late afternoon sun shone a very bright light on the house, highlighting the hues of the flowers and lush green grass decorating the house. The children; Mira and Mike, thrilled with excitement, came out of the car, their laughter and talk echoed in the air.
- Mira and Mike ran to the front door, their bag backs bouncing behind them as they ran into the house. Max, the most Jovial of the three, came out from the car really slowly, his movements sluggish. His eyes which usually dazzled in enthusiasm, suddenly dull with his gaze downwards.
- Isabella's heart twisted with concern as she watched her son go into the house. He walked like a puppet with cut strings. She lingered in the car, as her gaze took in every stride of her child's unusual behaviour.
