• "Why do you think she's still around, Ethan?" Jasmine's voice cut through the low hum of music playing in the background. They were in Ethan's apartment, the soft glow of the city lights casting shadows across his sleek, modern living room. Mia was noticeably absent, out for the night, giving Jasmine the perfect opening she'd been waiting for.
• Ethan looked up from his drink, his lips playing unconsciously with an amused smirk, as if her question was merely entertaining to him.
• "Jealousy does not look good on you, Jasmine." He leaned back in his chair, swirling the amber liquid around in his glass. Jasmine's eyes narrowed. She was not in the mood for his charm tonight.
