Chapter 13 Double Or Nothing

  • "Ever try something that just felt... too good to be true?" Ethan asked, leaning against the kitchen counter with that familiar glint in his eyes. He'd already poured us drinks, and I could tell he was working up to something.
  • I took a sip, raising an eyebrow. "You've got something up your sleeve, Ethan. Spit it out."
  • He smirked, placing his glass down as he inched closer. "There's this girl I've been talking to. Mia. I think you'll like her. She's fun, adventurous. and she's into the same kind of nights we are."
  • I rolled my eyes playfully, now feeling a little curious despite myself. "Oh yeah? And what makes her different from the others?"
  • She's just... you'll see. I've invited her over for tonight. Thought it might be fun, the three of us."
  • A threesome wasn't anything new for us, but something in Ethan's tone made me wary. Still, the idea of adding a fresh spark to our usual routine was tempting. "Alright, I'm in. But don't think I haven't noticed you avoiding my question.
  • Ethan merely shrugged, a mischievous smile playing with him. "You'll see, Jasmine. Trust me."
  • Someone knocked gently on the door. I opened it and saw a young woman standing there. She seemed a bit shy but also confident. Mia was petite, with reddish-brown hair that hung in waves around her shoulders. She wore a light sundress that looked unusual in this setting. But, her steady gaze showed that she was more than just her innocent look.
  • "Hi, I'm Mia," she said, her voice calm and clear, extending her hand to me. Her grip was firm, her smile wide and a little too knowing.
  • "Jasmine," I replied, squeezing back just as firmly. There was something in her eyes, a spark of challenge, or maybe just curiosity. Either way, it was hard to pin down.
  • "Ethan said you might be able to help me... explore some things." Mia said.
  • I smiled, stepping aside to let her in. "Come on in. Make yourself comfortable."
  • When Mia strode in, I knew immediately what it was that set her apart from the rest. She walked in as doe-eyed as ever, glancing around Ethan's apartment as if she owned the place, as if she'd been here before. My gut twisted, but I brushed it off. Maybe she was simply confident – nothing wrong with that.
  • Ethan watched us, his grin widening as if he'd just pulled off the perfect trick. "Mia, Jasmine. Jasmine, Mia. Now that the 'introductions' are out of the way, why don't we get a little more comfortable?
  • We adjourned to the bedroom-the air was electric. We started undressing, and I watched to notice how Mia apparently owed this space; each piece of clothing was flung carelessly onto Ethan's chair. Red flag number one, but I chugged it down since we were here to have fun, not to get caught up in whatever this was.
  • First Mia sat on the bed, her posture loose, her eyes almost black with playfulness. Ethan followed her, his hands tracing her bare skin with that kind of familiarity which, again, shot another pang through me. Still, I chased the discomfort away and slipped in next to them. It was supposed to be fun, my escape-nothing more.
  • It was like any other encounter-kissing, touching, heat and intensity building up. Still, with Mia, it was different-she was bold, meeting every touch with an equally fervent response. Ethan had been right; she knew exactly what she was doing, and wasn't bashful to show it.
  • Mia leaned into me, her breathing hot against my ear as Ethan's hands roamed over us. "Isn't this exactly what you wanted?
  • I let out a soft moan, trying to concentrate on the pleasure, on the thrill of this new addition. But every time I caught Ethan's gaze, it would stray to Mia for just a little too long, his touches on her skin a second too much.
  • The intensity escalated, and the three of us lost in the moment, bodies moving together in a chaotic, lustful rhythm. Ethan's hands wrapped around my hips, pulling me closer, yet his eyes never left Mia's face. She looked up to meet his gaze, smirking, as her fingers trailed down my back, firing my skin along their path.
  • It was hot, overwhelming, and for a moment I lost myself in it. The room echoed with our moans, the gasps of pleasure mingling in a symphony of lust. It was the kind of raw, unfiltered encounter that usually left me out of breath, but tonight it felt like I was just an extra in a scene that wasn't quite mine.
  • Mia exudes confidence-the surety in her movements unapologetic. She knows just how to play the game; I can see that Ethan is clearly drawn to her. I watch as his hand, which had been on my body, trails onto hers, and the line between us becomes indistinct in the haze of pleasure.
  • As we crested, the room spun, the feeling of their bodies against mine pulling me underneath. Yet even in the thrall of ecstasy, I couldn't shake the feeling it was somehow different. The presence of Mia, the way she was at ease in Ethan's space, the way he looked at her-it just was all a bit too comfortable.
  • Later, after we lay in a tangled mess of sheets and sweat, I turned to Ethan and Mia. His arm was thrown over her, his fingers interlocked with hers in a way that made my stomach twist. It wasn't just about the sex anymore; there was something else here, something I hadn't signed up for.
  • Ethan caught my eye, his expression soft but unreadable. "You okay?
  • "Yeah," I lied, smiling hard. "That was... something."
  • Mia just giggled under her breath, running a hand back through her hair as she sat up. "We should do this again sometime."
  • Ethan nodded, squeezing her hand before letting go. "Definitely."
  • I watched them, my mind racing. This was supposed to just be another night of indulgence, another notch in our belt of wild experiences. But as I lay there, I couldn't ignore the nagging feeling that this was just the beginning of something far more complicated.
  • Whatever lines there had been, they had begun to blur. Strongly as I wanted the excitement, I couldn't shake the misgivings which hung over the bed like a shadow. For the first time, I really wasn't sure if I was in control of the game any more-or if I even knew the rules.
