• "Are you sure about this?" Ethan asked a question laced in that mix of excitement and nervousness that I had grown so used to.
• I leaned back against the bathroom sink, watching his reflection in the mirror. I was brushing my hair, pretending to be cool, but inside I was a mess of contradictions. I shrugged, cool. "What's there to be sure about? You wanted this, remember?"
