Chapter 33 Finally
- “Arabella, look at this.” I say enthusiastically, as I point out the window to a majestic hawk that is perched on a limb.
- It is just a few feet from our window and staring at me with eyes of a true predator. The wings are sand colored and the breast a bright white. Surely, it must be a younger one, because the older versions colors is usually much darker.
- While thinking about how we will have our pups in just a few short months, I find myself smiling in spite of myself. Arabella catches me and asks, “May I ask what you are smiling about over there?”
