Chapter 20 Nightfall

• “What the hell.”  I turn around to direct my attention to Alpha Diego before he sits down.
• He is gesturing rudely to Alpha Gael.  So, I say quite loudly, “Knock it off you two.  It is dinner time, let’s be civil.” Then I return my attention to Arabella sitting next to me very quietly.
• When I see them both glance at me shortly thereafter, I shoot them a warning look before they both nod and sit down.  I was hoping that tonight’s dinner would be nice and quiet, but apparently, they have all decided to act like immature little brats at the table.  When Omega Dante brings out the food, I am relieved and remind myself to thank him later for defusing the situation before violence had a chance to break out.
