Chapter 58 Daddy

• It’s been several months since that day, and now looking back at it, I realize that I was completely wrong. I should have never touched Kelly or even had that reaction to her at all. Now, I don’t know what to do anymore, because even though Arabella has largely forgiven me, I really do not think she will ever completely.
• I love her and the pups so much, but I can see it in her eyes. The way she stares at me with longing, I know that she won’t allow herself to do anything about it because of what I have done. This has dominated my thoughts for days, even when I play with the pups and they ask me, “Daddy what’s wrong?” For our kind tend to grow much faster and stronger than humans ever have.
• They obviously are already talking in simple sentences and learning their alphabet. After all, they are their Daddy’s pups. I smile every time I think about them and their little quirks. “Boy, they do absolutely have stubborn streaks like their mom though.” I murmur under my breath.
