Chapter 37 Just Kiss The Girl

• As soon as I get her home and in bed, I tuck her in and kiss her cherry red lips. She looks exhausted and her face is as pale as a ghost, so I leave it at that. Hopefully, the cold hasn’t chilled her literally to the bone and doesn’t cause her to catch pneumonia.
• After making sure she is comfortable, I pull my clothes off and slide in behind her before lying my head down on the pillow. When I hear her softly snore, I smile because it sounds really cute when she does it. Hell, everything she does is cute, even when she yells at me.
• Tomorrow, I am going to take her over to the doctors and make sure she isn’t getting sick. The last thing we need right now is her getting sick with those pups inside of her. As I lay here struggling to fall asleep, I remember to check the windows and the door.
