Chapter 26 Her Birthday

• “What are you doing?” Curious about what Arabella is doing in the corner of the room, I try to see around the doorway, but her body is blocking it.
• I finally was let out of the hospital this morning and now I am trying to hide the fact that we have a surprise birthday party planned all out for her.  This evening, I will take her on a walk while several of the other Omega’s set up everything.  Then when the coast is clear, I will bring her back and we all will surprise her.  Hoping that this makes up for the fact that she isn’t with her family on her 18th birthday, I realize that it will never be the same, but it is all that we can do given the situation. 
• “Nothing.” She sounds like she is lying, but I decide to let it go for the moment.
