• In small groups, the contestants roamed the expansive grounds. They searched for evidence to support their claims of ghostly presence. Strapped with the body camera to their chest and in their hands, they were equipped with EMF detectors, an SLS screen, a spirit box, and a recorder. Some were better than others. They mimicked the actions and probing questions they had observed in various popular paranormal investigation videos. During the daylight hours, the quest to uncover the unknown did not seem as frightening. Their chatter and laughter reflected off the walls.
• The warm sunlight bathed the landscape, with few clouds blocking the golden rays. Birds sang their tune on the top of the branches. The sweet fragrance of the flowers filtered the air along with the hint of pine trees. A warm spring breeze promised a glorious day ahead.
