- "Well, that was interesting!" Rosa's tone was sarcastic as she placed the laptop back on the nightstand. After two hours of recording, nothing exciting had happened. The only thing she saw was shadows rushing around her room. Nothing major had happened. Her belongings remained as is, and she didn't get the feeling she was endangered. The only thing of interest was a female voice saying, "Welcome home, Rosa!" The fact that her name was spoken told Rosa that the spirit had the intelligence to know what was going on.
- Turning her head slightly, Rosa heard a faint buzzing. It was a call from Betty, her closest confidante, who knew her darkest secrets. Betty was more than just a friend; she was a steadfast anchor in Rosa’s tumultuous life, someone with whom she could share her innermost thoughts without a flicker of concern. Betty had proven time and again that her lips were sealed, and she was Rosa's greatest ally.
